Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes

The flavours I decided to make for work this week were Neapolitan and Chocolate Cherry.  The new cherry flavouring I bought is not only delicious, but smells amazing too!

To make these, I used my favourite chocolate cupcake recipe, and topped it with a dusky pink buttercream with cherry essence mixed through it.  I then made my favourite yellow hummingbirds to sit on top!

    1. The body is made with a tiny bit of yellow fondant, and I trace the wings out with edible sugar paper. Learned how to do it in a book by Frances McNaughton : )
