My Dad came through to Edinburgh for a visit the other day. We had agreed to go for a walk with Woodruff. It was his first time on the train, apparently there was much excitement…just as there was when he spotted me at the train station and bear hugged me with the kind of enthusiasm only a dog can muster. I love that dog.
So we wandered along the water of Leith for a good few miles. I told my Dad how much I really just want to get out of Scotland for a while. Woodruff just kept jumping in and out of the water for most of it. It was nice. Once we reached Leith, we walked around to Nobles, a pub I really like. It’s perfect because they allow dogs in one half of the restaurant, so Woody was well looked after with a bowl of water! Ace service, we really enjoyed ourselves.
The food was fantastic though, we both ordered vegetarian mains which is extremely unusual for us! Well not so much for me.
